Opps, 20 to 80 in .2 seconds

Well, I thought I'd take the boost protection off the twins since I retorqued the head....I left Smarty on 1 and turned the tst to 5/2 and we were off. I hit the go pedal and it was crazy. Boost instantaneously went to as close to 80 as I could tell and I was doing a hundred and a bit. I've honestly never been so scared in a vehicle as that. So I turned it down to 4/2 same thing....big puff of smoke and then afterburners and pinned to the seat like the space shuttle. Turned it to 3/1 and it maxed at 65psi then fell back once the rpm limit settled back to 3500 and 122mph. This truck is officially stupid fast. Got home and the water although on wasn't primed so I was on straight diesel. Oh yeah.....I set all the fun codes.....excessive rail pressure, overboost.........this truck doesn't go into limp mode I can tell you that. I decided to set the TST back on 40psi max boost which peaks out at about 45....good enough to beat anything in my neck of the woods....I just wooled a s2000 all done up with a carbon fibre hood and rear spoiler... we did three goes and it was too funny....all he could do was shake his head. ks

Holy Smokes, Glad to hear you got it up and running.
Sounds like you better start looking for a ujoint and tire sponsor (if you don't have on already).

After being down for 7 weeks this year this truck may not dyno till the spring time....or it may not dyno again......I'm looking for a donor regular cab 2wd truck to accept one of my spare motors that will be built to the same standard or better than this truck. This truck is just a test mule and so far its a thoroughbred. The twins are custom by Kerry with some help from my DTR buds.....Jeff K and AK RAM. Right now all my drive line u-Joints are absolutely shot. 40 high boost 4wd launches and we're in shaky ville. The entire drive line will be replaced in the next month or so including the ring gears diffs and hopefully axles. Then this engine may be back to 450hp max if I find a donor. So far I have a line on a 2002 short box 1500 but I'd rather start with a Cummins regular cab and start chopping the box and frame rails. ks

what do you do for a living to be able to afford all of those toys, and do you want to adopt a son? I am housebroken.

people buy up houses, and plant and grow bad weeds, not the kind you find on your lawn.
most of the time they don't even live in these houses, too stinky.
but there are that do.
