whats everyones opinions on running the Dr.p box 110hp non adjustable with the smarty S-06 revo.
is 27k rail pressure at WOT to much? 18-20k at cruising speed, stock sticks stock pumps.
I had a CEL come on when out doing some test and tuning session P0148 high pressure common rail, what can be done to remedy this(besides ditching the box) and how serious is this?
next $500 is going to an Airdog 150,but im getting 10psi at idle 6 at cruising and 2 at WOT( dr. p box with smarty on SW3) am i going to get into trouble running like this?
theres been alot of discussion on CR's melting pistons and i dont want to be another... but **** this thing it outragously fast with this combo.
thanks

I would say with good filtration you could handle a mild pressure increase for daily driving. I would make the AD more of a priority than the pressure. You also have to be sensitive in certain driving conditions or you can cause damage, like wot passing people redlining and etc. Just a thought.

i chatted with tre diesel about this idea and he suggested to not run any pressure for daily driving because of the potential adverse affects. i agree with him totally because the smarty has plenty of power for street driven vehicles. when competing and short duration runs, allow the dr. p box to do all the pressure and and shut pressure off on the smarty. you will still want to play with timing settings based solely on your setup. its hard to say what trouble these mods all cause and when because each truck is very different and we all find out a tad too late if we have a goof...and then a burnt piston and something.
