View Full Version : Open House, Meridian, ID
Next weekend, March 15, Meridian Automotive and Machine is having an open house to show off thier new Mustang Dyno. It goes from 12:00 to 6:00 PM. From what I gathered they will be charging $50.00 for horsepower and torque. Maybe we should get a small crew together and check it out. Would be interesting to compare against the DynoJet. It will also simulate 1/4 mile runs which would be cool to have an idea of what your truck would do on the track.

Sounds like Ol Blue will be in the area. Forgot to call on the 5" capability. Will call tomorrow and see if we need to schedule times also. Shouldn't matter with your truck, runs to clean. [laugh] Does the BullyDog chip help with producing some smoke? Nathan said he might show up. Like to see him down there since I don't think he has changed anything on the play truck. Haven't heard a for sure though. What's up Nathan, can ya make it?

Yeah Lon I'll probably stop by. I might have to show a ricer or two what horsepower and torque is. I might not dyno though if there isn't much going on. I'll see ya'll there.
Muddy, I think Jay and I will be showing up around 12:00 to 1:00. I'm in the process of moving and Jay has things to do also so I don't think we'll be there to long. Maybe go out for lunch afterwards??? Right on Nathan. I saw a sheet from the owners Ford. If I had the cash I'd pay just to see their faces. Talk to you then, Lon

AHH now this sucks! :'( I wish I could make it but I've got a job interview in Utah on Friday. Sorry fellas, wish I could be there! Well there's always next time. ;D Until then have fun and take care. 8)Steve 8)
Well Ol Blue and Idaho CTD showed the boys with their new dyno what HP and torque is all about. Nathan sent them running for a mop and bucket to clean up the floor after he was done. [laugh] Not to mention them moving a Chevelle that was through a door and in the next bay. They haven't had any Cummins dyno before so they wern't expecting the kind of numbers that were produced. Had a good time. Thanks Nathan and Rob for showing up. The look on their faces was priceless. Lon
That was a blast. Thanks for taking pics Lon.

I was the first CTD to run, and it took a while to get started. The dyon operator had me put torque against their straps 3 times before we ran the test, he kept mumbling under his breath something about a "torky pig". Then, when the first run was done and he looked at the results I saw him say Holly Sh***!!. That was a great moment. Seems like the first time those guys saw over 1000ft/lbs :o

I'd have REALLY liked to have seen the look on the operators face after IdahoCTD got done!!! :o :o :o
