I just got a 1 peice drive shaft for my 04 48re long bed. The original drive shaft measures 76" from center of u joint to center of u joint. The one peice is 75 1/4" from centet to center. Is this the right one? Is it going to work? I want to put it in right now.

I pulled the original and compared it to the one peice and the over length. The one peice was 1/4" shorter. I put it in and the truck drives smooth. Problem solved.

Where'd you order from, how much was it? Looking into the upgrade. I've got a quad cab long bed, 6 speed, is that what you've got?
