Welcome. I'm about an hour north of you in Jersey...maybe hour and 15 mins.

the dynamic timing advance is a great thing because you'll keep your low end power but gain the top end power of advanced timing.....you lose low end power when you advance the timing normally.

I wouldn't recommend having no AFC for the street....that'd be a smokey mess.

all your plans sound good but you didn't say what trans you have....if you have an auto you're going to need a good torque converter and if you have a 5spd youre going to need a clutch to hold the power. after injectors you'll blow right through the clutch.

The lockrite is a great idea. i know a guy with 90 cummins 2wd with a lockrite and it's downright nasty

mid to low 15's in the 1/4 , all depends on traction.

once you get injectors and more pump work and build the trans and get a posi you'll be runnign 13's

ive had a slight set back in upgrading ole shakey the water pump locked up solid on the way home friday nite from work and i managed to idle her home thankful it was freezing out and it didnt overheat her shreaded the belt so after autozone water pump and belt shes running great seems like the old water pump must have been going for a while and robbing power cause she seems to have more. a little weird tho the weep hole never leaked and it didnt have play when i checked it last... funny part is it said made in england on it... so now after christmas m&h timing spacer.

Bubba, I have pretty much the same as you right now except I have POD equivalents and a 18cm housing. I do 16.10x in the 1/4 and thats with a TIRED torque converter.

16ish is what i was thinking with it bin a club cab and with a loose converter.
after reading on here im thinking of doing a low pressure piston lift pump instead of the airdog for 2 reasons 1. the motor stays mechanical (ive driven with no alt or battery power twice now nice to still be mobile even when broken down...) and 2 it seems to be cheaper and flow enough for the 300hp i wanta shoot for. that sound like a gd idea to yalls?

it's what I did and have no regrets. Plus I did it for less than half the price of the airdog or equivalent
