If the diablo predator is timing and duration, what is the edge juice? How about the power puck,, I have been searching on here,, and I think I am getting bogged down in the numbers.

I have been testing different downloaders, and have found the predator to be in a class of its own for my truck, and I know that there are other people running the edge with the diablo,, I just want to get it straight in my head as to what each one does,,, also I am thinking about running the powerpuck too,, is that possible??

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated

not if the power puck does pressure and so does the juice.

The power puck I had was just timing - I thought. Thats what I was told when I bought it. Used it for a year and sold it to my Father-in-law. The power puck is a pretty mild box so am I wrong in saying that even if it did add pressure it wouldnt be an extreme amount as compared to the Edge?

But the question I have is it even possible to wire in the puck and the juice at the same time?

Well...I hate to say it but I didn't send my Juice off for the Hot program because I'm not sure I'll even be able to stick with it. I need more fuel but I don't want to stack something with my Juice/EZ. The Smarty will be the closest because I can pick duration only with no timing so I think that would be ok to do. It is hard to stack timing/duration onto more timing/duration. The timing will kill your motor faster than anything else.

Good luck finding a techy at Diablo that can make any sense or knows what they are selling! I went strictly on testimonials before I bought my Predator. I think they are T&D but a little pressure might be subsequential with the T&D. That's all I could make out of talking to two of the techs. Craig

I have found one thing with all my searchs, is that the predator and the juice do stack well, but Im not sure if you can or should add the powerpuck into the equation.

i saw in a post earlier that the puck was $205 @ summit racing. not a bad price! i dont think that i remember seeing anything about pressure. dont quote me though.

I believe the puck is pressure because it plugs into the rail pressure sensor and the boost sensor just like the EZ.

I love the predator, I have been testing differnt programers for the past month, I found the triple dog terrible, made my truck shift all funny, would pulse while in cruise control etc. Just not overly happy with it. I then tried the PPE unit, this unit definately had more power than the triple dog, but still made my tranny shift funny, also still considerably less power than the diablo. The diablo IMHO is the class of the downloaders,, awesome power, good smoke when wanted, my tranny shifts wonderful,, and also I get way less turbo bark when it goes into overdrive. I am anxiously awaiting my hot juice so that I can try them together.

Hey Pat you sure have done alot to that truck since I have seen ya I give the two thumbs up salute to Diablosport ............ have updated it twice now and currently have the r-21 with the stacker programs installed . Not using them yet cuz my clutch is walking the line already Extreme is 160 hp /230 tq and it is smooth as silk ........... idles pretty smooth now too .Stacking with their powerpuck gives 200hp/400tq I believe . Pretty wimpy compared to what you're running now !!!! Smoke on brother !!!!

I need to get my Diablo updated and see what it's got now. I think I recall they were shooting for 200hp out of the DL by itself. I guess they never got there yet.?? It definitely was a nice smooth power adder and a very good everyday driver. See ya at a rally or mtg sometime.

Do you guys download the program and unplug or do you leave plugged in all the time and what the built in gauges? I did not know I just download and unplug. Do you think it would hurt any thing to leave pluged in?
