OK All the tire and wheel numbers, need help please and quickly

So It would be a 20"X8.5" KMC Rockstar with 5.25 Backspacing and +10mm offset.

Tires would be 285/55/R20 Load E so you are looking at a 32.28" tire height, no worry their. But a width of 11.7" That may be a problem. I dont want them sticking out alot,I would rather them be flush, and I dont want then hitting the control arms at lockout. The width is my main concern.
My only other tire option is a 275/65/R20 which is 34.1" tall but only 11" wide. I like the 11" wide but dont know if a 34.1" tall tire will fit.

Help.......TIA, Rye...

Rye I run a 285/55 20 on a 20x9 rim with terra grapplers. I understand your concern, they are wide.

I read someones profile and they stated they had 275/65R20 on a stock 4X4. This is what I really want. Then I can get the Wrangler AT/S, that have proven to last on diesel trucks, and they are only 11" wide so I should have no issue with rubbing on control arms or sticking past the fender too far. I just dont know if the 34.1" height will work. I need a tire guru.....

Height as in rubbing Quarter panels? If so, no you will be fine.

No rubbing the control arms at full lock, (which it shouldn't since it is a taller skinnier tire). But more rubbing the front inner wheel well when turning or going up into driveways, or when hitting large bumps. Basically wondering if my suspension is still going to be able to flex, and will I be able to continue to drive like I normally do with out any rubbing issues and stay at stock height.

I run toyo m/t's 35/12.50/17's with just 2" spacers and stock suspension and stock rims. I offroad, go thru ditches, jump tall curbs, and carry 4,000 # pallets of concrete thru those ditches, offroad and curbs with that weight with no rubbing. Now granted I do get the control arm rubbing but I have to really pull the steering wheel pretty hard to get the rubbing. Hopefully this helps.

Alot of guys also run the same tire I mentioned with no spacers in front and stock suspension with no problem's. and your tire you are interested in is 1.5" skinnier. I think you'll be good.

Thanks for your help. They swear the 285/55/R20 will fit. After seeing Rip 112's truck (which looks great), they will fit I would just need some Bushwaker fender flares. I just dont know how that low profile of a tire would look on a 4X4, Im not looking for a street truck look. I think in a 4X4 a little taller and skinnier 275/65/R20 may look a little bit better. More like a 4X4 less like a street hot rod truck.

I dont care for low profile tires much either. Its a 4x4 truck keep it that way. You can run a 35" tire easy just watch the width. Maybe you should give Don Thuren or maybe Sage Carli a phone call. They should be able to tell you definite specifics on what tire fits your needs.

Just giving you a side view for reference. thanks for your comments Rye, I appreciate it!!!

I think you are right, your truck needs a taller profile, the 275/ 65s would be better for you. 285/55 is the largest i can run, as i do have some minor inner wheelwell rubbing when fully locked, and being I have a 2wd it looks perfect, but in your case I would want taller. You will clear the control arms and wheelwells I'm sure.
