Highway 4x4

All of a sudden I am getting oil coming out of the rear diff vent tube. Haven't done anything to it like rivers or oil change. Not a stream but a few drops or more every time I do the fwy. It's all clean back there and I have a Mag hytec cover. Anybody have this?

Check the tempeture of the diff after a long drive. It might be getting hot.

It checked at 102 deg after 60 fwy miles. new oil in. Old oil looked OK. Red Line 75-140 full syn.

That's good, not to hot. Did it still blow out some oil?

If it did, the only thing I can think of is if it is over full. You have an after market cover, don't know if the fill point is corrected for the '03, but OE cover is 1/4 inch below the fill hole for full.
