Oil Pressure Switch ???
Well boys, old Smoke has turned 20k so I changed over to Valvoline Blue Extreme 5W40. Now a few of you were saying the oil pressure gage was just a switch. If it is, it is a darn good switch because it can tell the difference between 15W40 and 5W40 oil! On cold startup, oil pressure is about two "needle widths" lower with the synthetic 5W40 than what it was with the conventional 15W40. No significant change warm running down the road.

The Boss Hog
(just the facts mam ;D)
