Oil leaks

I don't know if I am encouraged or discouraged in not finding threads about oil leaks. After considerable trial and error I have pinpointed and oil leak somewhere near the breather pipe connection on my 96. It is considerable worse when towing my 34 ft trailer. The breathing system is not plugged. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply. An experienced diesel mechanic felt like the breather had to be plugged, but with the oil drained and the plug out I can blow through the breather pipe easily.
