Oil Leak Near Oil Filter
I'm towing my trailer on vacation, I routinely check under the truck after some long pulls. I see oil sprayed all under the truck on the passenger side all the way to the back of the truck. I had the oil changed just to make sure the oil filter wasn't leaking. So now I can still see drips coming off the A/C compressor. What could be in that area that could be leaking, I've crawled all over and I can't seem to locate anything. Also if I need to have some work done I'm currently in Calgary Alberta, does anyone know of a reliable shop I could take my truck to? Thanks

When you took the old filter off at you last change, did you make sure the old seal came off with the filter? I had the same issue once, it was because the old filter gasket was stuck in there. It, in conjuction with the new filter, resulted in a leak. NEVERMIND- I just noticed you HAD the oil changed. I'll bet the knucklehead that changed the oil left the old seal on there...

Thanks guys for the replys, I checked the top of the housing and it seems to be dry, but there is a 3/4 to 1 inch line that runs down along side of the oil filter that lookin kinda dark, I just can't make it out what it could be. Still searching, I have found a few options to check for shops, but theres no way to know until Monday....
