fluid leak inside the cab
I recently noticed a leak that looks like it is coming from the brake pedal linkage. Has anyone heard about or seen this before? It is not engine oil or water. It looks to be brake fluid or power steering fluid. How can this be fixed?

Its more than likely your hydra boost system. My dads old 84 Chevy diesel did this years and years ago. He dident fix it for many years and it wrecked the carpet in the truck. Its not oil, its power stearing fluid.

If you have a leak around the rod that goes through the firewall it is the booster leaking p/s fluid. The booster needs replaced. I had my booster replaced under warranty for the same issue and they changed out the master as well.
