I really don't see why anyone should not be using a Fleetguard #LF3894......the best filter for a very reasonable price.

filters are filters are filters, now if you want a quality oil filter that will not have any thing to fall off and plug your cooling nozzles you do not want just a filter you want a fleetguard

www.genos.com get the fleetguard stratapore. the best there is, easy on the wallet. nothing else goes on my cummins, same thing at work, we only use fleetguard(oil, fuel, air, and coolant) on all of our CTD's

It should be mentioned that the 3894 is the Stratapore # for our CTD's......DC does not offer a Stratapore filter so, I wouldn't bother with them either.

You mean you don't prefer to pay $17.90 USD for a inferior filter?

I was openly disgusted and dismayed at the dealer when I priced the oil and fuel filters. I got 2 oils and 2 fuels at genos for about $50.50 vs. one of each at the dealer for $62.40?????

No need to check back at the dealer, Genos all the way.

I was told by the dealership that fleetguard makes the filter for them just says "Mopar instead of Fleetguard" they aslo told me that fleetguard is owned by Cummins.

Yep, the Mopar version is a re-badged Fleetguard. Don't know if Cummins owns Fleetguard.

Cummins does own Fleetguard, it's one of their most profitable divisions
