Fleetguard Stratapore.

It is convienently sold across the street at the Cummins store. It also seems to be one of the best filters out there judging by the specs on paper and how they look inside when I cut them open after oil changes.

I run the Donaldson Endurance Synteq (Part# ELF 7349). This is a synthetic media filter.

Why, you ask? I quote the following from the technical data sheet: Donaldson® Endurance™ filters are 98.7 percent efficient when faced with 15 micron contaminants, and they are 50 percent efficient when faced with seven micron contaminants.

I run the Amsoil EaO80/Donaldson ELF#7349 (same filter different paint) for the reason that Dr. Dizzle said.

The next best filter is the Fleetguard Stratapore at 25um absolute.

I carry a Donaldson P558615 as my toolbox spare.

Right now I am running the Fleetguard Strato as well. Thinking about changing to the Baldwin you have if I can find more info on it. I am thinking about running all Baldwins , oil, air, tranny, and fuel. I can get them all at Grainger.

Dr. D, I've ran nothing but Stratapores since new, but I'm curious about the Donaldson. Where do you get them and how much do they cost?
