Oil drain plug from hell?

So I went to change my oil at out my grandparents house today, got there got all setup got under the truck to find for one my drain plug looks like a monkey version of Helen Keller fabricated it, then two that same monkey with super monkey strength tightened this thing then somehow welded it from the inside. This thing will not budge, I mean I don't wanna sound cocky but im not the weakest of people out there and I had some serious leverage on this thing and it flexed and literally shifted the pan slightly. Should I find an impact drill or something? Is there some secret jutsu to get this thing off? Also What is the best way to go at the fuel filter? Thanks guys

I just had to use a "cheater" pipe with the ratchet when I had not regained most of my strength. I use an 1 1/8th" socket and a "shorty" ratchet on my FF.

I have never in my life seen an oil pan shift from attempting to loosen a oil drain plug. I have however used an impact gun to remove oil drain plugs, factually I just used one today to remove and install a drain plug. if you can get a socket on the plug try burping the trigger on an air gun to remove the plug. Once out run a thread chaser into the pan then install a new drain plug.

don't forget to go and get a new plug before you get the current one out!
or get a fumoto

i have a fumoto on my truck and am loving it! super easy, plus you can do a hot oil change without fear of making a mess and burning yourself!

Words of wisdom right here.

I second the fumoto valve. I have one installed on the truck, Volvo V70 wagon. I need to get 1 for my niece's Saturn.

A Fumoto plug may be convenient, but I'm not putting anything on my 4x4 that sticks down and can be rubbed off.

The front axle would be ripped out before the Fumoto.

2wd is a different story, that's why I haven't installed one on mine.

I can't see how a Fumoto valve would be ripped off. I would add one to anything they were available for that I have to regularly change the oil on.

there is no way it is going to be ripped off without first causing more serious damage. it is very well protected by the front axle.

Neck, same darn thing happened with the fill hole for my Getrag. RUST had "welded" the plug in place and previous brute-force removal attempts had only succeeded in rounding the inside of the plug. no amount of force (including welding a bolt head to it and using various "EZ-out" heads) could force it to yield.

finally a hammer and chisel had to be applied to it (after heat)

put a nice bronze plug in after that
