Oil, Dino or Synthetic?

I just rebuilt a 97 12 valver and I was thinking on running full synthetic, What's the consensus on running Synthetic vs Dino?

I'd run dino for 10k miles or so to let it break in. Then you can do synthetic. Remember to change your first oil at 500 miles. I use it in my Honda, keeps things clean and flows faster. I'd use it in the truck too but it gets too expensive with how much oil it takes. However, I am thining about getting a bypass filter system so I can use synthetic and not have to change it out as often. Maybe it'll be worth it then. I'd use Shell Rotella synthetic in the truck.
