ohm testing injector's
my 07 5.9 have error code p2149 so after reading up on it. checked valve cover hanress and injectors. the last one agianst fire wall #6 ? tested at 42 o all others are between 7-8 .
question is it the solanoid on top or whole injector or is this even a good way to test them.

it should of also thrown a p0206 and or a p0306 code. that is a good way to test. i have never tried this but the solenoid is easily removed from the injector. you do not even need to remove the injector to do it. remove the tappets and i think a 8mm wrench for the wires and a 1 1/16 to remove the top. nothing inside looks like it would need to be adjusted for just a solenoid change.

The solenoid on the injector is the problem, but, sourcing just the solenoid may be an issue. Not postive but think there may some settings and shims when the solenoid is changed.
Unless the you are really sure of the process and measurements swapping the complete injector is a much better solution.

no 6 you may bee correct but i looked real close and i did not see anything that looked like it would make any difference. you could get a core with a good solenoid and try it. use a heat gun and watch the temp on each exhaust port after start up. the temp will be consistent between them if it works

all ohm readings should be between 0 and 1. anything over 1 is bad. make sure you have the harness disconnected from the injector to get a proper reading. if the valve cover harness is bad and you don't disconnect harness from injector, valve cover harness is going to give you a false reading.

cbrahs is correct. i did not say anything because i think you left out a decimal point. i am glad you brought this up, anyone reading this and try to troubleshoot would have gotten confused
