im looking at a 99 2500 that supposedly has 59k miles on it. the guy says he bought it 1 year ago with 34k on it. can i get the odometer checked to see if it has been unplugged or messed with? does a dealer have something they can plug into the computer and tell me????

I think the Cummins ECM has some memory but I'm not sure whether or not it shows milage.<br>BTW my '99 only has 38,000 miles on it. (barely broke in, huh [laugh])

i just dont like being lied to. ill call a dealer and find out for myself.
