ode to lightman and his ORDER DATE
There once was man who we know as the lightman
Who ordered a truck and became a true he-man
At once he was struck with the point of his planning
To avoid the EPA NOx banning
For as long as the truck would stay in production
The lightman would surely be kept in seduction
For what in the world could there be in this story
To change a tale that is rather perfunctory?
But now we find trouble in the status because
We discovered that, alas, in limbo it was
Over this we will find that his head’s in a buzz
So we wait, and we watch, to see what lightman does.
So how do we know if it has EGR?
And meets lightman’s standard right up to the bar?
And how can he guess the production at Cummins?
So carefully guarded from we who are minions?
But in order to move to BX from BG
It has to be skid plate and from tow hookies free.
To speed up the truck and the production that stalled
So lightman would not be so intensely appalled
So off to the dealer an email he’s sending
To change the order and from options repenting
Would this be the ticket to restore his gumption?
And would it bring back all the former seduction?
So now we have a race to secure just a one
Of the non-EGR engines that bring so much fun
Only lightman will see with his very own eyes
The engine that’s his and if it flies or it dies
And we know that the saga of lightman will be
Unresolved as to really how happy he’ll be
Till the day that his truck lies before him exposed
And we know if it is to be kept or deposed.

this post will surely show it,
I can't wait for my truck
the moderators wont let me yell ****,
So I'll politely wait
and lament for it...... ;D
Guys, I am honored that you have taken such a creative stance at ribbing me ;D Had me actually LOL at my computer! I'm glad to be back in BX as of thursday, and held back my impulses to call DC friday
I"m hoping for d1 soon. I definitely assume I'm getting a non egr engine...lets hope 'assume' and 'reality' are somehwere on relatively similar planes of existence!
