Question O F V part no. id question ?

hi

got a new ofv off e bay and it has a diff part no than the old one ???

also lookes diff , no bolt/cap to remove to be able to get at the spring to strech it if you had a mind to ???

end that should have a cap lookes to have a ball presed into it ??


old bosch pn 24174-13101

new bosch 14174-13047 ?????? is it correct part ????

I don't know about the numbers, but I know my 24v had an OFV that looked like the one you're talking about.

I just replaced mine yesterday with one I bought off of ebay for $25 no cap on the end like the stock one just a steel ball pressed in the end works fine no leaks

yep seller said can use eather but one like my old one is $65.00

i will prob open my old one just to see if the spring is shorter than it is supposed to be ?

guess i will keep the old one in the glove box as there is no fixin the new one ?

did you check your old one for psi or spring length ?

I kept the old one as a spare as well, But did not check fuel pressure before or after I figured with just about a 100,000 miles on the truck to just change it. I also read on another site that they are the same and will function just fine.plus for $25 and 5 minutes time could really go wrong.
