O/D Switch - Replacement Bulb ???
Where or How do I replace the light bulb in the O/D switch?
Switch works fine; I tore it apart the bulb is blown. But its not like your typical bulb - its soldered in???? So what are you guys using for a replacement?

All I can offer is that I had to buy a new switch for mine. It cost right at 30 dollars from the dealer. That's supposed to be "goodguy price" too.
I had gone to the junkyard and pulled Overdrive switches out of several trucks and Ramchargers. They all looked the same but the plugs on the back were different shaped. I finally gave up and bought the correct switch new.

Well I just went to the wrecking yard and found a cargo light switch for cheap.I was getting a bunch of stuff and just threw it in the pile. Then I tore that one apart and unsoldered the bulb from that switch and installed it into my O/D swicth and all is good now.
If this one dies on me I will probably just install a LED from Radio Shack into it.
Anywho - thats how I fixed mine.
