Nylon Hose...Big PITA
I got my SRT10 A pillar and a nice auto meter Boost gauge. The install was fairly straight forward except for two things:
1) Geno's forgot to sent the RTL adapter for the intake..DOH!
2) The nylon tubing got itself kinked as I was pulling it through the firewall. I believe I got it sorted out (more or less straight again) carefully using a set of needle nose pilars. Man I hate that tubing.
I am wondering (while I am awaiting the RTL bolt) if there is better tubing I can use? Is there any way I can test the gauge and tubing before the RTL gets here?
LOL I tried blowing into the tube but the gauge would not budge. He he it was worth a try .
For any who have not done it yet, I highly rec the SRT10 A pillar. It is a snap to install (you have to reuse the plastic tabs, insulation and metal clip off your original A pillar) and looks great.
