5Speed, Typo fixed

I just lost 4th gear, (well its grinding when going to shift) , im getting some bearing noise only in 4th and 5th , mostly when letting off the throtle. How hard is this to fix? Any thoughts or anything i should know ? Would i be better off getting it fixed or doing it myself?

Probably countershaft problems. Just did a 5spd countershaft after our last pull. New one is about 150+-. Missing teeth on the constant mesh is common.

I would not advise you attemting to repair the 6 speed, It is one crazy transmission, It has 6 shift shafts and is a puzzle just to get it apart. My friend and I disassembled one and decided to get a reman. It was all we could do just to get the core reassembled. If you attempt it then I hope you have lots of time and patience good luck
