NV5600 harder shifting
My transmission shifting is getting harder especially after driving in city traffic.
I have hard time putting it in 1st or 2nd gear from standing.
I replaced oil with AMSOIL MTF 5-30 Syncromesh and overfilled by 2 quarts.
Clutch hydraulics have been replaced 5000 miles ago with Valair/SouthBend HD setup.
The clutch disengages in middle of pedal travel but feels a little rough, I believe my throwout bearing is not doing too good, but still works.
I read many switched to other oil brands and got better shifting, any suggestions ?

Usually when having a tough time getting into gear means the clutch isn't full disengaging while not in motion. So the next question does it happen all the time, or when it's cold?
Try pumping the clutch pedal quickly about a dozen times and see if the problem still persists.
For me the tranny shifts better with the Amsoil MTF than with the Pennzoil Synchromesh Fluid.

sounds like pilot bearring. I have seen one time where an aggresive clutch has made this problem too. The pilot bearring was fine, change the hydrolic, it was fine, and i then pulled the clutch and the clutch wore grooves into the flywheel and it would grab a little bit when the clutch was disengaged. Changed clutch all was well. My thought is probably the pilot bearring though.
Don't let it go too long or it will ruin the front of the input shaft and it can ruin front syncro and front input shaft bearring. If you pull the trans and the front of the input shaft is not Perfect, Then make sure to get a Flywheel from South Bend Clutch with the roller bearring pilot. The roller bearring will not need a perfect shaft, but the needle bearring does.
