Question Nutz.........

Ok, I've got my BHAF heatshield made as per the template. Now, what nuts are you all using to retain it? The ones from the stock airbox, new ones from a store??? What size are they, anyone know?

I used the same ones that held the stock airbox in.I had to put some red thread sealer on the one closest to the fender cause it kept poping off,but it has stayed since I did that.

I knocked out the stock studs. Drilled a couple of hole and rivited in the heat sheild.

I went and bought new metric bolts and washers snuged down the heat sheild then went and got a large hose clamp and ran a small bolt through it so that the bolt was at the exact center of the bottom of my napa air filter. That way I use the hose clamp to help secure the filter from wanting to move around. Looks very nice.
