I’ve heard of UIL but what is CIF? Call me a dummy but all I wanted in school was out. So not sure what some of the abbreviations are for.

"California Interscholastic Federation", just the local sports body.


This is probably the greatest team Norco High School will ever have. Third year in a row that we had a good shot at the championship, and this year we finally made it, with our star running back Toby Gerhart breaking the state record for career rushing yards and reaching third place for national career rushing yards. On top of that we had one of the best offensive lines in the state, one of the best kickers and a fantastic defense. Now if only we had this kind of team when I went there...

congratulations, it's a good feeling even though it's high school, enjoy it while you can....means everything right now to you guys.

we won Valley/CIF championship my senior year in '01, got a big ol' CIF patch for our jackets and HUUUUGE rings, it was a lot of fun!

We won two in a row?
We've been to the championships for the past four years in a row?
Out of the past sixteen years, we've been to the championships nine times?
And won five times?
