Noob Question

Hi All. I have been lurking the boards picking up some valuable information. I am looking at picking up a wigidigit plug from genos garage..Has anyone installed and used one of these yet. it seems like a nice piece.

Thanks in advance

Yes, put mine in a couple of weeks ago. Easy...Haven't used it yet hasn't been cold enough. Just take the black cap off that's behind the oil filter, plug it in an screw it down, route it to the front of your truck where ever you like. I routed mine under the radiator and zip tied it to the passenger side tow hook.

The cord has the plug on the end where you connect your extension cord to. The picture on Geno's website kinda makes you wonder how you plug it in? But what you are seeing is the weather cap on the end of the plug. The cord is an OEM Cummins part, I have no idea why they call it "Wigidigit". They also sell a plug that bolts to your truck that you can connect the heater cord to but that is purely up to you.
