No speedo, 0500, 0463
Hello everybody
The other night the speedo quit on my dodge. I also have no cruise control, I get the two mentioned TC's, and my abs and air bag lights are constantly lit. When I went to the dealership they gave me up a speed sensor for the rear diff which made sense to me with the codes I get. They said the sensor is usually what goes bad.
I still have no speedo/cruise. Is there an input voltage going to the sensor and then the sensor gives a pulse-width voltage signal back to the "truck"? If so, I should get signal voltage going to the sensor? For what it's worth, I cant get any voltage out of either wire to/from the sensor; I tested all the way to the bulkhead connector at the cab. The speedo has "jumped" momentarily once or twice, turning off both the abs and air bag lights but then they light up again.
What else can I do? What about the front sensors? I will probably take it to the dealer, there is supposed to be a really good dodge close by (my first dodge ). I was just curious if there was any other checking with the info/codes that are present before I take it in. Thanks

It was just a broken wire just upstream from the bulk connector behind the driver fenderwell. Took me a while to find, but it beats a 200 dollar service bill.
