I put a fass 150 on and a week later the plug thing in the front of the pre-filter blew out, so i just ran the fass right to the lift pump and it's been that way for a few month with no proglems yet! Is that gonna cause problems in the future or no?

Depends 100% on the quality of fuel you're putting in it.

you can get an inline pre filter for about $10 at napa (part #3270) this is for 3/8" fuel line, they also make a 1/2" model but I don't have the number handy
