No overdrive!!

First off, I just want to say thank you for all the info you guys have given me from reading the forums here. You guys know your stuff and I love that you share it!

My question is, why won't my tranny shift into overdrive? I cleaned the TPS by drilling the back and spraying electrical cleaner into the holes. After installing it, it doesn't shift into OD. Did I do something wrong?

Thanks for the help!

Looking at your post , it implies that the OD went away after cleaning the TPS [ and I know that my spelling and gramer suck ] you might want to go to user control pannel and fill if the truck info to help with figuring out your problums , once you get your TPS adjusted , I would try to diagnose the problum 1st then fix that , there are a number of things that control the OD if it is able to work , when I found mine not working intermitenly [ going over bumps] I lifted the brake pedle with my foot and it would stay working , what it was is that the brake sw. mount was so close to the pedle stop that hitting a bump would hit the brake sw. and tell the OD to unlock , also turnning off cruse, so I hot glude a small washer on the foot of the sw. foot. thats just one of the things that control it . Keep posting tell its fixed.

Sorry it took me so long to get back with you guys! I don't get to a computer too often.

Anyway, I bought a new TPS and I have overdrive now! Thank goodness cause it was getting expensive for gas!

I appreciate your help guys, thank you.
