No fuel pressure at filter but still runs
My 1995 has no fuel pressure at the fuel filter outlet when checked with a gauge. The motor runs but lacks power and wont rev past 1800 rpm. Is this a lift pump issue? Just installed a new fuel filter. I didnt think the engine would even run with zero fuel pressure. Any thoughts would be welcome.

It may be the overflow valve , thats where the pressure is set , by the valve spring restricting the flow to the right pressure , My guess is whats happing is that you have fuel from the lift pump , but not pressure from the overflow valve , after a new OFV , check pressure again , the lift pump could be weak also .

Fule filter , then lift pump .
Forgot about an other comin issue , the fuel line & or hoses coming from the tank can leak , but since its a vacume [ the pumps suction side ] you may not see fuel , so putting about 3lbs air pressure in fuel tank then look for fuel leaks in lines & hoses from tank to lift pump .
