No Crank sensor signal
I have a 92 w250 extra cab cummins with 5 spd the tach was bouncing and the cruise would kick out changed the crank sensor and swapped the end for a weather pack connector and have no tach signal now and does not charge found a couple bad wires at the fuse links over the ds inner fender but still does not charge or no tach signal I have 5 volts on the grey and black wire 8.8 volts on the yellow and tan wire and the blue and black no voltage .went through the engine harness no green wires then started to go through rest of harness at the firewall .I have the factory service manual and have even tried another sbec but still nothing I was wondering if anyone has had this problem I am out of direction here and need some direction to go any help would be greatly appreciated I also tried another brand new crank sensor but that one is internally grounded on the 5 volt side and am loosing 3 volts because of it so changed back to the other sensor that I put the weather pack connector on now with that being said I bought the sensors from the dealer HELP thanks Brian
