Need to replace the cad system on 01 ram. Dynatrac has a 35 spline one piece axle for the right, 35 spline for the left, 35 spline spider gears for diff, u-joints, and seals.

Can you replace the spider gears without removing the entire differential?
How difficult is replacing the spiders?

What question are you asking here? I am reading your CAD is not working in your title. Are you going to buy just replacement parts for that? If so, I get my parts from http://www.quad4x4.com/Dodge%20Frt%20Axle&Steering.htm

Have you tested your cad system out yet? To test it pull off both red and black tube's off the vacuum system on the cad. Having the truck running and place the truck in 4wd. If you feel the tubes you disconnected, one should have suction to it. Place the truck back in 2wd and the other should have suction. A lot of people thing the cad system is bad when in reality it is a cracked or broken vacuum hose leading up to the cad.

I just had to replace my center axle section last week and it just slid out the axle housing. I did not have to take out the entire differential to pull that Differential Output Shaft out to put in a new one.

I want to replace cad with the axles listed in my first post.I will be deleting the cad all together. The new axles, one piece for each side are 35 spline, which will require new spider gears. I have checked and have vacuum. The vacuum motor is not engaging the collar.

you can either get the whole free spin kit from dynatrac or ems off road. or if all your wanting to do is get rid of the cad you can get a posi-lock enganement system.

In the future I will put in the free spin hub kit. For now I want to replace the two piece axle on the right side. Dynatrac has the axles but they are 35 spline inners. The kit comes with two axles, one for the passenger side and one for the drivers side. The axles have 35 spline inners that fit into the diff, that has 32 spline inners from the factory. I need to replace the 32 spline spiders with the 35 spline spiders in order to use the Dynatrac axle kit. The question is can I replace the spider gears in the diff without pulling the entire diff?
