No 4th gear and code p1740
I was on freeway pulling an empty trailer and hose of transmission cooler come off so when transmission started popping out off gear I pulled over but by that time I lost my oil
So I hooked the hose filed it with oil and drove it home , replaced filter and oil three times and adjusted bands there was a lot black stuff in the oil pan , it was shifting ok for two days now transmission wont shift in 4th gear
at light throttle between 1-2 gear it shifts weird...feels like popping out of gear and then it catches if i floor it every thing is fine
Any suggestions?

sounds like overdrive is smoked. you can bandaide it by doing an overdrive overhaul (new clutches) but that is and will be only temporary.
