Newbie, with some questions
Hello everyone!! A few weeks ago I ran my truck at the track and ran a 14.1@96.62MPH, this is with my predator on the extreme RKL tune and a stock tranny, well everything is stock besides a CAI/exhaust. I have just ordered a fully built tranny from NADP which should be here in a week or so, and my question is, will I run a better time with a built tranny vs a stock one. I would also like to leave the extreme RKL tune on my truck once the transmission arrives, and how would the stock injectors/fuel system/pumps, ect, hold up or should I start to upgrade that stuff also.
Also on another note this is my first diesel, so I'm still learning. Love the site, lots of great info!!!!!
Thanks!!

Definately need a fuel pump (GDP or FASS), and yes the NADP Trans will make a diff....if you got it with all the billet goodies, you'll be able to do some pretty agressive boosted launches and really help the times....

The dodge stock injectors and C3P pump will be fine until you get over 500hp, the lift pump though should be replaced if you are going to play at all, FASS is a good one as are others, the tranny will help a little as you might be able to play with the shift points with your programmer, but don't look for a big difference other than it won't leave you stranded like a stock one that has been abused.

I bought a fully built transmission with TC/VB and the flex plate they sold seperatly so I got one of them also, I figured it was just as well to do it all in one shot. The stock transmission is in rough shape now and I did get 10 months out of it, so thats not to bad.......I think!!

Did you do a full NADP? The diablo is good at the track for sure were you locking up your t/c at the track with those times? You should pick up nearly half a second off your e/ts with that transmission b/c it will shift right through and not hesitate like the stocker. You should be okay with the diablo and a box stacked with it after that you will need an aftermarket fuel system either GDP or FASS. Diablo however doesnt play well with injectors on the 06-07 trucks we have had 2 go down with problems after running it daily we only use it at the track now and have gotten our best e/ts using it. I would go with a set of II ro DDP injectors but plan on people saying go with DonM or F1 diesel its up too you. Once you do injectors you can count on needing a upgraded cp3 and turbo.

The transmission is the heavy hauler series (I was told it was the best transmission they build). The time that I posted was with a boost launch in 4WD. What box do you suggest I stack with the diablo?? As for injectors/fuel systems, this is something that Im going to be upgrading within the next week or so, and the cp3/turbo I'll will upgrade after winter.
