Hello all, just checking in to give a little back ground. I currently own a 2002 Dodge Ram 3500 w/diesel no upgades, 153000 miles, I drive 85 miles daily to and from work, and I pull a 28 ft enclosed trailer with a 1973 duster inside.
I have owned previously another 2002 Ram 3500 w/diesel, and a 1996 Ram 3500 w/ V-10. I must say I like the Diesel much better. I went from 17 miles to the gallon to 12 miles to the gallon around town driving when they went to the low sulphur fuel. The other issue I have is when I drive the truck before it is warmed up, I have no boost so I don't get over 40mph until the temperature gauge starts to move. It is like a switch has turned off and I then have full power. Maybe someone here will have an answer as to why.
