New Wheels Not Sure They Will Fit Pls Help
Guys need a little help with a set of custom 18inc wheels , that i found at a car dealer near my home . The guy at the dealer told me that they were on a 07 or 08 2500 dmax that the guy sold . I know that the bolt patten is right but it seems that the hub is alot bigger then my 03 2500 ram. so my ?? is . can i buy some sort of ring or spacer to go in the wheel to fit my hub so the wheels aren't sitting on the lugs alone or is this ok to do ?

sounds like you need to treat them like H2 rims, need to machine out the center hub hole so it clears...... not sure what material the rims you have are but people have used rotozips, routers, hole saws, grinders and just about anything on the soft aluminum H2 rims with good luck. remember tha the truck is designed to use lug centric rims, hub hole can be a bit off and be ok.

Aftermarket rims for our trucks are not hub-centric so it doesn't matter if the hole for the hub is quite a bit larger than the hub itself. If they look good, have the right backspacing, and are priced right...... then go for them!!
What kind of wheels are they?
