New T/C and truck will not go??

Dodge replaced the T/C in my 06 2500 with the 48re. I picked her up today and just about got killed on th way home from the dealer. I stopped at an intersection, saw a vehicle coming and it was a ways off. I gave it the fuel and the tack went to 2200 and the truck just would not pick up any speed. I made it through the intrsection. I checkd the trany fluid and it is way over the max mark on the stick.

What in the world did they do to my truck?? It was almost if the tranny was slipping.

Called the dealer back and they were closed, will be calling in the am.

They messed something up, take it back. Hard to tell whether its the TC or internal. Could be several things.

Go out put the shifter in first gear. Does the truck go then? It may not be going to first or second. It may be trying to start off in 3rd. Oh the joy of a non test driven truck after a repair.
