New Style of Bosch Injector - Fuel Mileage Tanks
I was in NADP about a month ago looking to replace my injectors.
Well, a customer standing there and the sales guy said Bosch has got a new style where old style tips are not interchangeable - but it's being reported that mileage goes down the tube with this new revision of injector.
Well, had the injectors changed and I'm here to say my fuel mileage has TANKED! Horrible!
Anyone know why?

old style injector wil take new or old style nozzles, new style will only work with new style nozzles.
DDP has a write up on injector nozzle install and lays it out with pictures.
Should not be any differece mileage wise unless you have a defective injector or install.

Injectors have tested to be fine and there are no leaks.
It seems to burn much more fuel under load - noticeable in my EGT's by about +150 degrees and more black smoke under load.
I'm wondering if those nozzles can flow more fuel than the old. I wonder why Bosch made the design change.
I'd like to hear from other people who have changed to the new Bosch injectors - to see if they have noticed anything, like the guys at NADP have as well as me.
Anyway, I have a bigger turbo (Garrett Stage 3 dual ball bearing) going on in about a week...maybe that will help my mileage, burning all the fuel under load....
