New programmer

Has anyone tried the new programmer for the 03-05 Cummins yet?

http://www.dynamicdiesels.com/DodgePerforamance.html

Claims big horsepower as well as speedo recalibration and DTC code clearing. I am in no way affiliated with this company. I am interested only from a performance standpoint.

Wow, you can get a "hot" version that advertises 270 hp! If it's true, that's the most I've ever heard of from a box before. I bet you can't run it on that setting and hammer it w/o some serious airflow improvements to keep egt's down!

Wow, they are right down the road from me. I wonder who actually makes the box, the top model sounds pretty extreme, maybe to much, and pricey.

here is an email i got when i wrote the guy who has this for sale

This is a new product for the Dodge truck from Pacific Performance. The Xcelerator has been around for about a year for the Duramax and has been a very good product with great feedback. The HP numbers are at the flywheel and they are accurate. Pacific is still working out the exact numbers for each level but the total HP is correct. Pacific performs testing on the dyno, in the mountains, sand dunes, drags, sled pulls etc. This is expected to be ready for shipment this week, I have placed auctions to get some exposure out and answer any questions.
Below is the website for Pacific if you would like to read up about them and their products. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank You

Gristle,

The 'right down the road' is the link in the first post: http://www.dynamicdiesels.com/contact.html

This dealer is located in Climax Michigan. That is right off of I-94, close to Kalamazoo MI. I didn't know we had a diesel shop anywhere around here for us little truck guys. Everyone in my neck of the woods heads to Angola, Indiana to Dave's. I wonder if this guy with this new programmer actually has a diesel shop, or is he working out of a back room in a muffler shop or something? Seems to have quite a varied product line, anyone ever heard of him, or been to this shop?

Mike
