I ran Motor oil in my truck one time.
Added about two quarts to a 35 gallon tankfull.
It smoked waaaay more than normal.....too much for my tastes.
Back to additives only.

Fuel additives work just as good and are made to be burned and clean injectors so why even burn motor oil.

If your going to use motor oil then use non-detergent oil. The additives in standard oil are not meant to burn.

Should say it on the bottle or jug. Wal-mart sells it in 2 different grades. Tractor supply stores will also sell it.

there isn't a tractor supply, or a wal-mart within about 2000 miles haha

A decent ashless 2-stroke oil should work for added lubricity.

Use some vegetable oil, you should be able to get that and it works great to add lubricity, and smokes less than motor oil. Many people are running blends of up to 50% veg. oil in warm climates in 12 valve engines, so a quart per tank would be easy.

I wouldn't add lubricating oil to my tank new or used!!!
additives in new oil are meant NOT to burn and crap in old oil can't be good for anything or you could leave it in your crankcase.
Buy a good , bad or indifferent 2 cycle oil. That is meant for the combustion chamber and won't leave bad things where they shopuldn't be.
