New OFE Installed
I just had a new CON OFE installed yesterday with the hydraulic upgrade and I noticed a few things that I wonder if they will change over time. The pedal is a little stiffer than before, will this ease up over time or stay that way? The gearbox seems to be a little tighter when going through the gears, will this loosen up? It wants to hop backing up, I assume that when the clutch gets set this will pass?

I dont know if the pedal will actually ease up or not but you will get used to it and it will have seemed to of eased up.
It should get better goin into gear but no guarantees.
After the clutch is broken in very, very well try and second or third gear launch and see if that helps with the backing up/jerkyness issue.
And congrats on the new clutch.

My ofe was very jerky in reverse and second when new. it is because you are used to the stock clutch allowing slippage when engaging, the iron material on the ofe, wants to grab and go. use alittle more throttle when backing, it should smooth it out some, and it will get better when broken in.

OK, after driving it for a few days, I have noticed another little item. It appears that I feel more vibration from the engine in the shifter than I did before at idle. Is the new flywheel lighter than the stock one and allowing more vibration to come through?

It definately grabs and goes. I can't wait to set the Smarty on #9 and see what that feels like. I have only been up to #5 so far. I need to get a few more miles on it first.
