New NASCAR Dodge for 200
Dodge released the new sketch for next years nascar.
It's gonna be the new CHARGER.

One of the local (NC) papers last week had reallife pics of Casey Mears testing a new Charger in black primer at one of the tracks. Stay tuned and I'll see if I can find it.
Also Allpar has reallife pics of alleged Chargers on car carriers.

It should be criminal to take a name like Charger and throw it on a 4 door.
The original design team must be spinning in their grave. At least the GTO is 2 doors, even if it doesn't resemble the old ones except for the badges.

After the Challeger's demise in the 70's, it was resurected in the 80's as a "Sportsy" economy car .
Now it's back as this:

I think that car companies just need to come up with new names. It seems like its all numbers anymore! And I don't mean 442, I mean totally obscure numbers. It's all confusing...
As for the new Charger, ugh. It burns me that they put the name on the 4 door. Is it that hard just to make a 2 door? What's Mopar's current 2 door 4 seater premium car, anyway? The Sebring?!? I would think that the Charger would infringe on the 300's territory. I don't see how they fit in different demographics, and I don't know anybody that like's the Sebring. Bring a good two door to the market, darnnit.
And thanks for cursing the Barracuda, too. The good thing about AMC being defunct is that nobody is in position to stick the name Gremlin, AMX, Rebel or Javelin on a new-age peace of junk....
