Hello Everyone,
I just purchased my first diesel truck last week. 99 3500 w/ drw. Love It!!! I am in process of saving for exhaust, guages and BHAF. Is there anyone near Brandon, FL. I used to have a 99 Dodge Dakota R/T, but I was involved in a head on collision in October. This time, I decided to go with a bigger vehicle. I have been viewing this website for several weeks and seems to be a good bunch of people with lots of patience and advice for the newbies.

Welcome David!!! This site is the best on the net that I have found. As you can see I've been hanging around here for a while. You won't find a better bunch of people anywhere. There's a wealth of information stored in the forums. If you can't find an answer using the search function, fire away and I'm sure that someone here will be able to help.

The only stupid question is the one you didn’t ask because you thought it was stupid; and you ended up hurting yourself or your truck.
Anyway welcome to the site David and fire away.

Welcome aboard
Great bunch of guys here, lots of knowledge. If it can be done to a ctd, someone on this site has done it already. So warm up that credit card and start learning

Appreciate the welcome. I'm still learning the different maintenance requirements for the CTD. Are there any good reads regarding basic knowledge of the diesel (preferably the Cummins) and also modding these big boys. I feel so akward going into something that I have no knowledge. Hopefully in a couple of weeks I'll be adding an exhaust and BHAF. Once again, thanks for the welcome.

David:
I would suggest going to the "Main Page" of this site (DTR)
and click on "Tech Facts" at the very top of the page.
There are many different articles on the Dodge CTD
Trucks there and you can pick which ones you find
interesting.
