i just took the plunge to a new to me 04 6spd.{305hp}i have a few questions,to install a bhaf can i jumper the iat sensor or should it be installed in the bhaf?can the {or does it have one}the silencer ring be removed?my factory stereo seems to have one speaker that doesnt work,is it common or just a thing to deal with?i also may have a powersteering leak,is there any common spots that leak on them.any other tips or sugestions are welcomed and apriciated thanx dave

Yes there is a silencer ring. It can indeed be removed. Congrats on the new ride!

Yes on the silencer ring, makes a fair difference. The only setereo thing I can remember were some trucks seemed to have a speaker wired out of phase(+ and - reversed) might check that, and I have heard of the steering pump, it would have been under warranty but you are probubly out by now. With an '04 you may be getting close to ball joints and u-joints if they haven't been done yet. Other than that these are great trucks and enjoy.
