new LP no fuel

Installed new lift pump and the truck ran great for 20 miles. then went to start it the next day and the "wait to start" doesn't come on. The LP doesn't stop running; fuel is not getting to th IP. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a air leak.

You didn't say what pump you installed. But I'll assume it's a stock one in the stock location with stock connections.

I would double check all the inlet side connections. Make sure the washers are on both sides of the banjo fittings (I dropped one without knowing until I had it tightened up) and the connection where the rubber line connects to the metal line at the lift pump. If the washers are there try tightening the banjo fitting. Mine was sucking air at the inlet banjo because the new washers were a little bigger in diameter than the old ones and the banjo had a burr that needed to be filed off for a good seal.

Got to be something on the install if you only made it 20 miles. Ram1999has it right.
