I was given a brand new set of stock injectors for a 6.7 Cummins. There given to me by a friend of mine who's company makes micro products for Bosch, Cummins, Cat and many others. Does any one know if these will work on a 5.9

Negative new injection system!! But im sure some companies like Formula 1 diesel, Industrial Injection, DDP, etc. injection companies would be very intrested in them.

How much do you think they are worth?

Call your local dodge dealer and ask..they charge something outrageous like $600 a pop for new injectors. Are you wanting new injectors for your truck? Id just do a straight up trade if they were willing. You got them free, dont want to be to greedy.

Not being greedy. I just have no need for them. I was just thinking of selling them on ebay for a couple hundred bucks for all of them.

The guy (VP of sales) told me they were the injectors for the new Dodge Cummins. I assumed that he meant the 6.7. I find out for sure over the weekend. He gave them to me in a unmarked box. I will take pictures and post them when I get home. Form what I remember (I just got them) they were black and had Bosch written in silver on the side or them.

No way they are $2300 a peice!! maybe $2300 a set.
That would be $15,000 in injectors if all of them went bad.

Darn! You should go tell the dealer to take the injectors out of a new 07 and then sell you the rest of the truck for 25k and see if he takes you up on it![duhhh]

That's what they told me I didnt give 2 Edit, I just wanted my truck back so I could get back to work. It was down for two weeks. Out of the 6 6.7's that my company bought 4 of them have had nothing but problems. It breaks my hart considering I talked my boss in to buying Dodge. [verymad] [verymad]

should have stuck with the 5.9's.

As above I think the 5.9 injectors list for $600-850 each if you had to buy them outright. That would be $3600 to $5000 for a set of 5.9 sticks, so maybe the price on the 6.7 is substantually higher....it would pay to call around and would suggest calling Dodge first then maybe a local Cummins shop. Then look into getting something out of them that will let you buy or trade for something you might want later for your own truck.....even $3600 will do a lot of upgrades.....

The 6.7 injectors are piezo electric so they are way different than the 5.9 solenoid models... If I were an injector reseller....I'd jump at them....Realistically they are worth at least $2400 and I wouldn't sell them off cheaper unless you are desparate for some quick cash. By the sounds of it they will be a hot commodity. KS

Hes just saying that a 6.7 set of injectors are 2300 bucks a pop. So just tell him to take the injectors out a new 07 6.7 truck then subtracting $13,800 off the truck price. Then sell you the rest of the truck for cheap. I am sure you could find all 6 injectors for $3-3500 pretty easy to replace em.
It was just a sarcastic remark not be taken seriously. Just dealers that try to rip someone off that bad get my blood boiling.

Yep, It's the Duramax that are Piezo....and all the new diesels.... the 6.7 injectors are "enhanced" solenoid models that can be according to DonM ...."creatively machined to fit a 5.9". Sorry for my lazy sunday mixup.
