Is anyone running or have any info on a new era twin disc clutch? It will be used for some sled pulling and pulling a gooseneck trailer. Thanks!:cool:

I want to say they have South Bend make them.

He sells southbend and custom clutches which are built by Terry Shafer at Power Parts Engineering. I do run one of his clutches. I have no complaints about its performance.

From what I hear the custom clutches Chuck sells at New Era are top of the line.

Why are they less expensive then south bend clutchs

If they are Terrys cluthes, then I have heard alot of good about them.

I am pretty sure those are Terry's clutches since Chuck has them labeled as PPE for Power Parts Engineering. I have Terry's 3600# clutch in my truck. Been almost 2 yrs with countless 3rd gear burnouts and a couple sled pulls.This clutch is smooth and holds great.The best part is Terry is a great guy to deal with.Everything is top notch in my book
