new engine break in questions

so when the truck is finished this next week. new pistons, new bearings hamilton big stick and springs and new super special turbo, after the cam is broke in the engine oil is going to be dumped and new oil put in, after that thinking that since there are still alot of new parts, next oil change should be 1000?. after that I'm thinking that I can go to 3500 change intervals? what do you think and what would you do.

should of worded it different, do a 1000k mile then dump it. then a 3500 dump it. and then go to 5k. Semper Fi, I did many things in the Corps. I was in the Combat Engineer Field, spent alot of my years at 1st Marine Division,
1st Combat Eng battalion so the last few years before I got out I got to play alot more with Explosives. take care

with the money I'm spending on rebuild oil changes are cheap insurance for the first few changes I should be able to do a sample test at the local cummins dealer. Roseburg is still the same besides the down spiral of economy. but perfect area for the outdoors. thanks for your input.
