New Dyno Graphs

The following are dyno graphs from a buddies truck it is a 2007 5.9 with the following mods: intake, exhaust, dual disk, fuel system, each graph was done with 2 different programmers. What do you think about the differences. Looking for good input and opinions. Done on a dynojet 248c

Bump for the night crew (i know rip112 is out there somewhere)....The programming on left is bully dog pmt version 1.0.1.0 and on right is TNT lvl7, timing0, torque4, rail4.

I am NOT starting a trash talking thread I am looking for good input I still need to dyno 4.2 on this truck to see what the difference is.... that tune is strong on an '07......i think in the graph on the right tnt is running out of fuel but i could be wrong.....thanks for the input.

Those are very nice numbers. I can guess what 2 programmers were involved...lol

Are you able to go back to the 4.2???

Yeah you are right about the programmers.....and yes you can go back but you have to load an old BD file into your truck in order to do so....kind of a pain but now atleast we can go back and forth, were ok if 05-07 trucks dont load tnt updated after November '07

The graphs are so close its ridiculous

Taking a closer look to it, it looks like the peak on the Smarty is a little sooner and smoother, but the BD pulls just as long, just a little later. I agree they are close.

In the field we'd call that difference statistically insignificant.

Try sw9 on smarty as well... I never bought into the "7 is better" theory. In all the smarty files I've tried (which is most) the only one I ever got that the 7 was stronger than 9 was the original beta 4.4.

^^^^we'll do we should have some more graphs by the end of the month

I think we will do the following on that basically stock 07 truck:

1) 4.2 lvls, 5,7,9
2) TNT lvl 5, 7, 9 and mess with the pressure and timing some more
3) BD 1.0.1.0
4) BD 2.4d

for the 07 my money is on the 4.2...... man it just rips and rips. lol...but seat of the pants and dyno can be 2 different things. I'm sure it has to do with the ramp up rate of the rail pressure but I wanna see it dyno and run down the track.

The maps almost lay on top of each other. your right about the indifference.....Its just amazing to see how these things change.....the 2006 truck we have that has a build date of "2005" kicks *** on 2.4d as do most 2006 trucks and then we go and change to a late 2006.5 truck with the "can-bus" system and things change........were just having fun tuning man.

Down side to BD is that they a re for sure done making "big" tunes but the tunes they have are almost 4years old and they are killer......but with marco changing all the time and not ever being satisfied it plays into the cosumers best interest because things just get better and better

Hard to really read given the runs were started 10mph apart... You cant compare the beginning of the pulls IMO

Yeah it is off a little but power is still relatively the same.

But you can see that neither pull really starts getting after it till about 70mph which is about 2000 rpm's
